Locomotive and trains galore...
Built upon a fantastic assortment of vintage locomotives and rolling stock that the Pennsylvania Railroad assembled for the 1939-1940 New York World's Fair, we have:
23 steam locomotives, including the K4s - Pacific No. 3750, the Official Steam Locomotive of Pennsylvania.
6 diesels.
8 electrics.
3 gasoline powered.
6 multiple-unit and self propelled passenger cars.
19 passenger cars, ranging from early wooden to contemporary stainless steel.
25 freight cars & cabooses.
14 maintenance of way, including motor and hand cars.
Many finely restored, with lots of information about them.
Many exhibited in our 100,000 square foot indoor exhibit hall, others in our outdoor Restoration Yard.
Railroads...
Pennsylvania Railroad, Reading Railroad, Norfolk Southern, Penn-Central, Conrail, Amtrak, other short lines.
Railroad equipment ranges from high speed passenger to freight and logging industry equipment.
Access
Some equipment is assembled into full trains. A number allow viewing of interiors.

Much of the museum is handicap-accessible, but some exhibits are restricted for safety reasons.
